The Nephilim offers an incredible dive into ancient Sumerian and Akkadian history which pushed mankind from living within society to civilization and eventually falling into imperialism. McLoud does an amazing job explaining who the Nephilim were and why such ancient texts like the book of Genesis refer to them the way they do. He explains that what we now refer to as Shamanism played a major role in the evolution of the religion and government of ancient Sumer and Akkad, and elements of which have spread all throughout the world. Incredible take on early ancient history.

This work is truly a fantastic reassessment of history! Get the cameras people and have some interviews with this guy! I’ve read a lot of ancient history books, but this time I was blown away with the detailed view the author presents his case. Don’t expect a simplified love story boys and girls! You need to open your mind and engage intellectually! You will miss a golden opportunity if you compare it to mainstream history books! If possible, take your biased notions and set it aside! This book presents NEW arguments, and I must say the author makes a compelling argument! This guy explains in detail the origins of Perseus and others from the second millennium BC. A new race “the dragon seed” emerged and their migrations, religion etc. made up a fascinating investigation! He discusses the ancient god kings, dwarfs and naked maidens, lord of the Rephaim, the giants, the serpent goddess and so much more! He discusses the sacred bloodline and so I can carry on! I have not encountered any other work of the Nephilim like this! I will waste my time trying to summarise this book! You must read it yourself! It’s complex but so sensible and oh, so gooood!!! Well, when can we expect the third volume? Hurry up guys, I need to know the rest!!!

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Once again, this is EPIC work.

This is the original story of the Nephilim. I've been trying to find books on this bloodline that aren't written through the lens of the Abrahamic faith, which demonizes the these bloodlines. The author presents the original Sumerian texts, kings lists, and chronology that attests to the existence of the Nephilim, and sheds light on their contributions to global culture. Far from the evil monsters that religious zealots accuse them of being, they were of divine, royal blood and most served as wise priest kings. If you are interested in an unbiased narrative on the Nephilim, I highly recommend this book, and I'm waiting anxiously for the next book in the series!

Willem McLoud is an independent scholar with a lively interest in ancient Middle Eastern and Mediterranean studies, Kantian philosophy and philosophy of science. Willem holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics (Nuclear Fusion) as well as three Masters’ degrees. He is an innovative thinker who produced original work in various fields published in peer-review journals, his research of and writing about the ancient world stretching over more than three decades.
